This site is non-commercial and maintained by an amateur photographer interested in macro photography on Nikon cameras. All efforts are made to produce reliable data that other photographers can use as a guide to getting the best performance out of their lenses but no guarantees can be made. There is known to be a certain amount of variance from lens to lens but good manufacturing insures that this is minimal. The data on this site is based on one lens sample only. The other issue is measurement error which I attempt to minimize.
